Marcia has developed her own style of character transformation. Millers Crossing was praised for the variety of her performance in films such as The First Wives, Meet Joe Black and Mona Lisa Smile. The actress will appear in Fifty Shades of Grey by Universal, where she portrays Christian Grey's mother. Valentine's Day is the date set for its release. Other recent projects included Elsa & Fred starring the legendary Shirley MacLaine, Christopher Plummer as well as Christopher Plummer. The ABC comedy Trophy Wife starring Malin Ackerman and Bradley Whitford, and Woody Allen's Magic in the Moonlight starring Emma Stone and Colin Firth.
